Tamar Ben Cnaan

Tamar Ben Cnaan is a Tel Aviv-based costume designer and performer. Studied at the Theatre School (Amsterdam) for the performing arts. She likes to channel the creative process into the clothes making, by navigating the intricate landscape of the piece and merging between them.

Tamar has designed clothes for different productions and festivals such as the Israel Festival, Curtain Up Festival, Acco Festival, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Intima Dance and more. And collaborated with various choreographers and artists such as Sharon Zuckerman, Maya Brinner, Yuli Kovbasnian, Daniel Landau, Fresco Dance Company, Omer Krieger, Merav Dagan, Stav Marin, Ofir Yudilevich, Netta Weiner, May Zarhi, Ido Feder, among others. She collaborated with Yasmeen Godder for Practicing Empathy #2.
