4 workshops of 45 minutes will occur simultaneously in different spaces exposing the different outcomes of the project including scientist-dancer collaborations, junior scientists research and artistic research. The public is welcome to sign up for up to 2 workshops.

 

Collective Synchronization Shuli Enosh and Hila Gvirtz

Through Hora’s principles, an Israeli folk dance, Shuli Enosh together with Hila Gvirts explore the themes of unison and collective emotions, using guided emotional transitions inside groups as a way to explore and enable new movement awareness.

From Understanding to Creativity in Art and Science Matan Karklinsky and Uri Shafir

The creative process plays an inherent role in the generation of both art and science. During this process, the person acquires insights they did not previously have. In this workshop, led by Matan Karklinsky and Uri Shafir, we will focus on the passage from our well-known territory to an uncharted area, with an emphasis on the individual characteristics of this passage.

* Each participant is asked to prepare a ~3 minute talk about a topic they find interesting, and several questions on this topic which they cannot yet answer.

 

The Meaning of Research in Dance, Therapy, and Science Anat Vaadia, Dorit Guy-Jelinek, and Nimrod Levin

In this workshop, Anat Vaadia, Dorit Guy-Jelinek, and Nimrod Levin will present a movement-based method used for research in the Störung/הפרעה project, and discuss the meaning of research as a concept from the perspectives of a choreographer, a dance therapist, and a scientist.

 

Capoeira with Parkinson’s Dancers Ofir Yudilevitch

In this lecture-performance Ofir Yudilevitch and the Parkinson’s dancers will demonstrate the Capoeira classes that were held during the year. We will get to know the art of Capoeira and see the adaptations made to allow the Parkinson’s dancers to experience and play.
