The Summer Lab is a Summer intensive course dedicated to people who want to get in touch with the professional studies and the dancer work, and to the professionals who are interested in coming in contact with the new languages of the contemporary panorama.
The ArteMente Training Centre, supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture as an organization for the promotion of dance, offers within a single container the opportunity to explore the various technical and expressive tools and languages of some of the most important realities of the international scene, through collaborations with prestigious Italian and foreign Institutions.
For over 40 years Oriente Occidente Dance Festival has been one of the most important contemporary realities in Italy. Through this collaboration the Summer Lab becomes a case for many cultural activities related to dance, which allow concrete moments of professional improvement for students, dancers and creatives.
The period is divided into two intensive modules of 6 days each and hosts 11 national and international artists.

More than Dance…
The Summer Lab experience goes beyond just the practice of dance and is enriched with numerous activities such as the possibility of attending the Oriente Occidente Dance Festival shows and participation in meetings linked to the Festival with Lanfranco Cis, founder and artistic director of Oriente Occidente and to contemporaneity with Lia Courrier, teacher and editorialist for Dance Hall News.
ArteMente provides a complete organisation of the formative experience through the conventions with Residenza Universitaria of Rovereto, Caffetteria Bontadi and Ostello di Rovereto. Thus, ArteMente provides participants the opportunity to purchase packages for classes only or accommodation and half board included.
